William L. Beltz
William Lawrence Baltz, 90, former tile manufacturer in Mowrystown for
many years, died Saturday, March 10, 1973, in Brown County Hospital in
Georgetown where he had been confined for a few weeks.
He operated the Mowrystown Brick & Tile Company for many years,
retiring several years ago.
He was born July 29, 1882, in Buford, Highland County, Ohio, the son of
Andrew Beltz III and Mary Davis Beltz.
He is survived by his wife, Bessie; and one daughter, Mrs. James Nelson
(Ruth Pauline) Forsythe, Sardinia; four sons, Charles Vernon Beltz,
Mowrystown, George Willard Beltz, of Michigan, Marvin Lewis (Dutch) Beltz
of Hillsboro, Route 7, and William Wendell Beltz of
Cincinnati; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 P.M. at the Presbyterian Church in
Mowrystown, with Rev. Tweedle officiating and burial following in Mowry-
stown Cemetery.
Visitation was to be at the Gleason Roberts Funeral Home after 4 P.M.
Monday.
