Lorena was born 1904 to the parents of Hattie May Perry b. 1884 Pontotoc, MS d. 1911 unknown location and John William Davis B. 1882, Booneville, TN. Lorena's mother passed away when she 7 years old and her brother Ira was 5 years old. Family moved to Madison County Alabama. Lorena started working at the cotton mill at the age of 9. Lorena's favorite Aunt was Aunt Jewel Davis. Jewel was only 4 years older than Lorena. These precious ladies seemed to work at the same cotton mills when they were younger. Lorena married Issac B. Lambert when she was 23 years old. Lorena and Issac had 5 children. Hattie Louise, Virginia Mae, James Earl, Randall Eugene and Shirley Ann.
