Edna was a daughter of the late James Herman and Mattie Mai Craig Jones. She was a member of the Rover Baptist Church and was retired from the Durango Boot Company with 25 years of service and from the Forrest School Cafeteria. On 18 May 1935 in Marshall County she and Jimmie D. Hickman were married. They had three children Janice, Katie and Jimmie.
