PLEASANT VIEW. Charlotte M. Lee passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 16, 2004 at the age of 75, surrounded by her wonderful husband and loving family. She was born February 16, 1929 at the family home in Ogden, the daughter of Sherman R. and Mae Schofield Mattson. Charlotte married Robert F. Green. They were later divorced. She married her sweetheart, "Mr. Winn" Julian R. Lee in 1969. She was reared and educated in Ogden, graduating from Ogden High School and attended Weber State College. Charlotte was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Ogden. She retired from Defense Depot Ogden in 1978. Charlotte was very creative and an extremely talented artist. She was an expert with all needlework as well as making wedding cakes and dipping chocolates. Christmas was a very special time at the Lee home. Charlotte and Julian loved to travel, crossing the United States visiting Florida, Georgia, and California every winter, golfing along the way. Surviving are her husband, Julian, of Pleasant View, who loved and cared for her for 35 years; her daughters, Debra (Jim) Leatham, Las Vegas, NV; Kristie A. Creamer, Layton; Robin (Pat) Metcalf, Clearfield; son, William Kim (Sherry) Green, Salt Lake City; stepdaughters, Sandi (Bob) Larose, and Ann L. (Dean) Weise; 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother and four sisters, Pete Mattson, Mesquite, NV; Maude Zundel, Highland, UT; Phyllis Handsaker, Holladay, UT; Gwen Wilson, North Ogden; Margaret Wheelwright, Alpine, UT. She was preceded in death by her parents, stepsons, W. Terry Lee and Roger Lee; two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services held Monday at Lindquist's North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd. Interment, Ben Lomond/North Ogden Cemetery.
