Death of Mr. William H. Cary.
William H. Cary, an old and highly respected citizen of Brooklyn, died this morning at his residence, No. 22 Remsen street, from the effects of a malignant pustule. He was first attacked by illness on Friday last. Mr. Cary was the senior member of the firm of Cary, Howard, Sanger & Co., doing business at Nos. 105 and 107 Chambers street, New York. For the past thirty years he has been a resident of Brooklyn, and has occupied a prominent place among her wealthy and enterprising citizens. He was the largest owner of real estate in that city, a director of the City Railroad Company, and a Director of the Nassau Bank and Nasaau Insurance Company of New York. His age was about sixty years.

He was survived by his wife and an adopted daughter.
