Mrs. Wilks was born in Norfolk. She was the widow of James O. Wilks.
Survivors include a son, Ronald W. Davis; an adopted son, Roosevelt L. Williams; three sisters, Clarestine D. Edwards, Mattie D. Taborn and Gertrude Matthews; and a brother, Charles Davis, all of Norfolk.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in St. Paul Church of God in Christ by the Rev. Wilbur Daniels and the Rev. James Edwards III. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Friends may join the family at 3506 Gatling Ave., Apt. A, and other times at the residence. The body will be placed in church at 10 a.m. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
