Louis H. Barber, age 88, of Pencil Bluff, passed away July 31, 2012, in Little Rock. He was born July 26, 1923, to Wesley and Bannie Stovall Barber.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Mr. Barber's first marriage was to Estelle Wilma Tackett, daughter of George C. Tackett and Della Orielia Wacaster, on February 18, 1944 in Montgomery Co., Arkansas. They were the parents of four sons and two daughters; fourteen grand-children, and twenty-eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside funeral service was held August 3, 2012 at Barber Cemetery in Sims with Brother Justin Lenard officiating.
