Bruce Township – Susan Marie DeGrendel, 18, died Tuesday at Tri-County Community Hospital Bruce Township.
She was a 1987 graduate of Romeo High School where she was active in choir. She was an employee of the Medi-Lodge of Romeo and was a student at Macomb County Community College.
She is survived by her parents Raymond and Beverly DeGrendel; brothers, Ray, David, both of Sterling Heights; sister Kimberly Wiegand of Romeo; and Grandmother Mrs. Yvonne DeGrendel of Mount Clemens.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. John Lutheran Church, Romeo, with the Rev. Oscar Braunschweig officiating. Burial will be in Christian Memorial Cultural Center, Rochester. Visitation is noon to 9 p.m. today at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, 11280 32 Mile, Romeo. Memorial contributions may be made to the Michigan Cancer Society or Medi-Lodge of Romeo.
