Deceased Name: DeGrendel, Raymond F.

Raymond F. DeGrendel, 58, a 22-year Bruce Township resident and former member of the Macomb County Board of Commissioners, died Saturday, March 10, 1990, in his home. He was born July 8, 1931, in Detroit.

Mr. DeGrendel and his sons owned and operated the DeGrendel Building Supply Company in Macomb Township. He was a county commissioner from the 12th District for eight years and was a past member of the Romeo Rotary Club and the Bruce Township Zoning Board. He also was a former investigator for the Macomb County Friend of the Court and was a member of the U.S. Navy Reserves Honor Guard.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly; sons, Raymond M. and David A., both of Sterling Heights; daughter, Mrs. Kimberly (David) Ellis of Romeo; mother, Mrs. Yvonne DeGrendel of Mount Clemens; brothers, Frank of Mount Clemens, Henry of Rochester; and 10 grandchildren.
