Dr. Conrad Swepson Boyd, Jr., DDS, was born at "Pleasant Hill", Boydton, VA. married Alice E. Stewart 6 July 1859. Children were Mary Alice Boyd, born 1 January 1862 and James Stewart Boyd, born 15 June 1864. Alice died (date and place unknown).
Dr. Boyd subsequently married Elizabeth Mutter Feild in Warren County, NC on 14 April 1875. They had two daughters (Ella Bell Boyd and Frances Feild Boyd), and a son Alexander Boyd.
