Former Arkansaw Man Died in California
L.R. Holbrook, who was born in Arkansaw, Wis., on April 30, 1875, died Sunday in a hospital at San Francisco, Calf. He was graduated from West Point in 1896 and originated the army's school for cooks and bakers. He also commanded the first U. S. field artillery regiment to enter France in World War I. A major general in the army, he retired some years ago.
