MCALLISTER, KIMBERLY DENISE - was born June 26, 1973 and departed, Sunday, July 29, 2012. She was a 1991 graduate of Fulton High School. Kim received her bachelor's degree from University of Tennessee Chattanooga. She was a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Theta Rho Chapter and was employed at Knoxville Utilities Board for 15 years. Kim attended Freedom Fellowship Christian Church. Preceded in death by father, Willie Ballinger; step father, Louis McCannelly; nephew, William Charlock and step son, Maurice Antwon McAllister, Jr. Kim leaves to cherish her memories: devoted husband, Maurice McAllister; daughters Asjha and Sydnei McAllister and step daughter, Jasmine McAllister (Memphis, TN); mother, Margaret McCannelly; brother, David Ballinger; sister, Towanda Ballinger; mother-in-law, Patricia (Gary) Miller; father-in-law, John (Sharon) McAllister; sisters-in-law, Chekesha (Al) Colley and Selena King; brother-in-law, Gary Miller, Jr.; aunt, Frances Senter; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Family and friends will assemble at 5812 Bouquet Lane. A Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Omega Omega ceremony will be held, Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. at Freedom Fellowship Christian Church, 4027 Papermill Drive. The receiving of friends will follow and her celebration of life service is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment services at Sherwood Memorial Gardens in Alcoa, TN. Arrangements by Jarnigan and Son Mortuary.
