ALDERMAN, Roland Walter, 80, of Galax, died Wednesday, July 10, 1996 in Waddell Nursing Home. Mr. Alderman was born in Carroll Co., Va. on April 15, 1916 to the late William A. Alderman and Nella Jennings Alderman.
He is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Benford (Beulah) Hurd, Miss Ava Alderman both of Galax, Mrs. Webb (Irene) Pinner of Suffolk, Mrs. Joe (Arlie) Williams of Kokomo, Ind.; brother, Clarence Alderman of Galax; eight nieces and nephews; several great-niece s and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, at the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Don Nation officiating. Burial will follow in Felts Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements by Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home
