William Boshell, one of the most prominent citizens of the Townley community, died at the family home at that place Sunday morning after a short illness. Funeral services were held Monday. Mr. Boshell was 74 years old and is survived by several sons and daughters. His wife preceded to the grave a few years ago.
Mr. Boshell was a merchant and farmer and was said to be a man of considerable means. He was said to have been in the mercantile business longer than any other merchant in Walker county. He was a native of this county. – The Birmingham News (Birmingham, AL)
