Mrs. McNeese Taken In Death
Mrs. Loretta McNeese, 87, died Wednesday at 11:45 p.m. at the Briggs - Eskew Nursing home where she had been a patient since Feb. 29. She had been seriously ill for the past week.
Mrs. McNeese had been a resident of Fairfield for 65 years. The body is at the Weston Behner Funeral home where arrangements are pending.
The former Loretta Van Sant, Mrs. McNeese was born Jan. 26, 1873 near Wayland. She was married to Harry McNeese who preceded her in death in 1930. She was a member of the First Baptist church.
Mrs. McNeese is survived by one son, Harold McNeese, Fairfield: and two daughters, Mrs. Claire Parsons and Mrs. Carter Barr, both of Long Beach, Calif. Eight grandchildren and one brother, John Van Sant, Wayland, also survive. Two daughters daughters, four sisters and one brother are deseased.
