Walter's parents: Henry and Rose were parents of three children. Their daughter Julia, was born in April of 1881; an infant, whose date of birth is unknown, died in March of 1886; and their son, Walter Henry Biermann,Jr., was born in September of 1886.
In September of 1888, Walter's mother, Rose Biermann, was left a young widow with two young children to raise, when Henry Biermann suffered a fatal accident.
Eventually, Rose married William Goldschmidt, who not only raised Rosa's two children from her 1st marriage, Walter Henry and his sister, Julia; but was a devoted father to his and Rosa's children, Raymond, George, and little Emilie, who sadly died when she was just seven months old. The Goldschmidt children were Walter Henry and Julia's half-brothers and sister.
Walter Henry Biermann married Christina Schottmueller, daughter of Reinhardt and Helena (Wirth) Schottmueller. Walter Henry and Christina's only child, Walter George Biermann was born on the 10th of October 1916.
Walter Henry Biermann was employed as a Bartender at the time of his death, which occurred on 14 June 1945, as a result of a Cerebral Hemmorhage. He was 58 years old.
Mr. Biermann was survived by his wife Christina, his son Walter George Biermann, daughter-in-law Dorothy (nee Weber) Biermann and two grandchildren.
Walter Henry was buried at Calvary Cemetery, on the 18th of June 1945. His beloved wife, Christina, never remarried, and died in March 1979, at the age of 85 years.
Both Walter Henry and his wife Christina are buried at Calvary Cemetery, in St. Louis, Missouri. Their graves are located in Section 026; Lot 2282.
