Jacob Ball was a minuteman in the militia during the Revolutionary War. Wife was Mary Vergensen. Jacob served as a private in Capt. Isaac Halsey's militia in 1776. He later served in Capt. David Bates Company of Minute Men and Col. Sylvanus Seeley's Battalion of Morris County (NJ) militia during the Revolution.
