Rosanne "Rosy" (Nisly) Miller, 53, of Churchman's Mill Road, Stuarts Draft, Virginia, died unexpectedly on Monday, July 30, 2012, at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville. Rosy was a dedicated Christian and a member of Pilgrim Christian Fellowship. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who will greatly be missed. She enjoyed scrapbooking, sewing, babysitting, and watching birds. Rosy was born on August 29, 1958, in Litchfield, Minnesota, to Moses and Mary (Wengerd) Nisly of Shreve, Ohio. On February 21, 1981, Rosy was married to Allen Miller who survives. Also surviving are children, Rosemary and Nelson Shrock, and Kenneth Miller, missionaries to Haiti, Randy and Sharon (Zook) of Stuarts Draft, and Rolanda of the home; one grandchild, Heidi Anne (Lovli), daughter of Nelson and Rosemary Shrock. Siblings surviving are Ruth Kropf of Halsey, Oregon, Mark Nisly of Fredericktown, Ohio, Michael Nisly of Shreve, Ohio, Martha Hershberger of Holmesville, Ohio, Miriam Chupp of Waynesboro, Virginia. She was preceded in death by a son, Dale Allen in 2001. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 1, 2012, at Pilgrim Fellowship Church.
A funeral service will be conducted 10 a.m. Thursday, August 2, 2012, at Pilgrim Fellowship Church, with Pastor Simon Schrock serving. Interment will be at the church cemetery.
