Mr. Henry Bawcum, age 80, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2010 as a result of an auto accident in Benton County. He was born February 9, 1930 in Decatur County and retired from the Air Force. Funeral services were held 2:00 PM Friday, April 9, 2010 at Parsons Mortuary Chapel with Bro. Keith Kirk officiating. Interment followed in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Bawcum is survived by his wife, Lattie Miller Bawcum of Parsons; sons, Sammy Bawcum of Parsons, Randy Bawcum of Texas, Gregory Bawcum of Nashville; brothers, Hershell Bawcum of Nashville, Dean (Jonnie Ruth) Bawcum of Buena Vista; sister, Frances (Berthal) Haggard of Nashville; one grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Maggie and Sam Bawcum; brothers, John, Connie, Gray, Jack and Robert Bawcum; sisters, Bertha Mae and Opal.
A Flag Ceremony was performed by Veterans Honor Guard
