Mrs Mollie Porter, 89, a resident of Mercycrest Nursing Home, died there at 12:10 pm Monday.
Mrs Porter was born June 8, 1875 in Enon, the daughter of Benjamin and Mary Ann Alvin Barringer.
She was a member of First Baptist Church and is survived by two grandchildren, Miss Jacqueline Porter and Jack Porter, both of Springfield.
The body was taken to Woods Funeral Home where friends may call until time of services at 2 pm Wednesday.
The Rev Morse Bettison, pastor of First Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Enon Cemetery.
