February 10, 2003 A. Charlotte (Gere) Bode, of Seventh Street, Liverpool, NY passed away on Monday, February 10, 2003 at Birchwood Health Care Center. She was a graduate of St. John's Academy and received her Bachelor & Masters of Education De-grees from Syracuse University. She was an elementary school teacher at Bessie Riordan in Mattydale for 41 years. Member of NYS Teachers Retirement Association, and of North Syracuse Teacher Association. She was an avid swimmer and walker, she spent her winters in Dayton Beach, FL. She was predeceased by her husband, Herbert Bode whom she married in 1945. She is survived by a step daughter-in-law Muriel Bode of Santa Barbara, CA and 5 step grandchildren, Victor Bode, Vincent Bode, Valarie Caramonica, Robert Bode and Bruce Bode. Services are Friday, February 14, 2003 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph the Worker Church, 1001 Tulip Street, Liverpool, New York. Burial is at St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt, NY. The family will receive friends from 9:00-10:00 AM at church's Parish Center. Contributions may be made to St. Joseph the Worker Church Human Development Fund, 1001 Tulip Street, Liverpool, NY 13088.
