He was born December 9, 1909, in Nampa, Idaho to Bert and Ethel Moore. He married June L. Mulberry in 1928, at Blackfoot and they lived in the Idaho Falls area. In 1942, they moved to New Plymouth where they farmed. In 1946, they moved to Caldwell where they farmed until retiring. June passed away in 1982.
Marion married Josephine Stefanides in 1984, and they lived at the Caldwell Farm until recently.
He was well known for his farming abilities and his beautiful farm. He was well liked by everyone that met him. He always had a smile on his face and made everyone around him smile.
Survivors include his wife, Josephine, of Boca Raton, Florida; a son, Marvin G. “ Marty” Moore and wife, Lorraine of San Diego, Calif.; a daughter, Phyllis Lytle of Spokane, Wash.; 2 brothers, Dean Moore of Oregon and Lowell Moore of Idaho Falls; five grandchildren and many great-grandchildren along with nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Flahiff Funeral Chapel from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. to Noon Monday. Friends and Family are asked to meet at the cemetery Monday.
