Lorena M. Harris of Tulsa, Okla., formerly of Eugene, died Sept. 7 of age-related causes. She was 92.
Harris was born Oct. 2, 1911, in Perry, Okla., to Lewis and May Watkins. She received a bachelor's degree from Central State Teachers College in Edmond, Okla. She held jobs in several fields, beginning and ending her working career as a public school teacher. She retired from the Tulsa public schools.
She enjoyed cooking, sewing and entertaining. She belonged to two Tulsa teachers' sororities, the Tulsa Philharmonic Society and a Methodist church. She moved to Eugene in 1998.
Three husbands, three sisters and three brothers died previously.
Monday's funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. at Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Burial in Lane Memorial Gardens. Musgrove Family Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
