She is survived by Rex A. Rackley, the love of her life and best friend; their children, John Skelton and Michael B. Rackley and Family; favorite mother-in-law, Jerry Rackley; cousins, Jerry Morgenstern and Family, Rhonda Johnson and Family, and Joy and Phil Wilson and Family.

Cynthia Ann Rackley (Cindy to all) loved Bandera, the people, the Hill Country, and the ways of pure honest country folks. She never met a stranger and shared her laughter and joy with everyone around her. She was a devoted wife and mother. She loved her family and was proud to be a fifth generation Banderian. Cindy lost her sight years ago, but she never lost her spirit or her sense of adventure. She enjoyed fishing and sport shooting as well as driving on her property (with a little help from Rex). What Cindy loved most of all was her people and they, in turn, loved her. She will be remembered with love and cherished in the memories of all that knew her.
A viewing will be held at Grimes Funeral Chapels on Friday, July 27, 2012 from 4-8 pm.
The funeral service will be held at 2 pm, on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Bandera. Interment will follow at Bandera Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Morgenstern, Alton Twig Robertson, Alan Pursh, Phil Wilson, Michael B. Rackley, and Clay Stephenson. John F. Skelton was an honorary pallbearer.
