WERDON - MRS. ORAL I. - With loving arms the angels came and lifted our mother to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 16, 1998.
Mrs. Werdon was preceded in death by her husband, ROY in 1969; two sons, REX JAMES WERDON in 1996, and HUGH R. WERDON in 1965.
She will be missed by her children, JOHN WERDON, DALE and LORENE WERDON, LOREN and MARGARET WERDON, ALAN and RITA WERDON, MARY and DALE VAN DYKE, BRUCE and SUSAN WERDON, STEPHEN and PATRICIA WERDON, MARK and MERRIE WERDON, RUTH and STEVE VANDER MEY; 29 grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
We will remember her loving care and all the sacrifices that she made for each one of us.
Funeral services will be held Sunday 3:00 p.m. at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel North, with Rev. Rob Baker officiating. Friends may call at the funeral chapel Sunday 2:00 p.m. until the time of services. Cemetery committal services will be held Monday 2:00 p.m. at the Martin Cemetery on Cascade Road. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Greater Grand Rapids.
