Mrs. Ada Mae Bragg, 93, died Monday September 29, at a Summers County hospital following a long illness.

Born March 10, 1893, at Raleigh County, she was the daughter of the late Meredith T. and Hattie Frances Plumley Bennett.

Mrs. Bragg lived most of her life in Summers County and was a member of the Brooks Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Green Bragg in Oct. 1972, and one son, Elbert L. Bragg in 1974.

Survivors include six daughters, Hattie F. Jolliff of Tug Creek, Lorene M. Garden and Phyllis G. Bowling, both of Hinton, Della E. Duncan of Kentucky, Leona M. Plumley of Ohio, and Hettie B. Graham of Woodbridge, Va.; a son, Basil F. Bragg of Brooks; five sisters, Norma Graham, Verna Adkins, Donna Richmond and Hattie Sears, all of Hinton, and Zona Graham of Elk Knob; 33 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Services were held Thursday October 2 at 11 a.m. at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel in Hinton with the Revs. Darrell Hamm and C. H. Martin officiating. Burial followed in the Elk Knob Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Howard Fox, Jerry Spicer, Virgil Ward, Sam Richmond, Cecil Meadows, Roger Adkins, Edward Cyrus, and Leonard Ward.
