Robinson YORK Pauline Mae (Baer) Robinson, 74, passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2012, at her residence. She was the wife of William A. Robinson. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 4, 2012, at Pine Grove United Methodist Church, 2523 Pine Grove Rd., York, with her pastor, the Reverend Joel Coleman officiating. A visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service. Born on July 31, 1938, Pauline was a daughter of the late Clarence A. and Florence M. (Schmuck) Baer. Mrs. Robinson worked part time as a Sales Clerk for Myer's Salads & Pastries. She was also an Army Wife for 21 years. Mrs. Robinson was a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Ladies Sunshine Group, the choir and served on the Administrative Council. She was a member of various choirs at various Army posts as well. Pauline was a former president of the Armed Forces Wives Club at the University of Michigan, a cub scout leader at various places including Kentucky and New Mexico, co-chaired the Dallastown Community Band with her husband and co-chaired her class reunion committee. She also volunteered at York Hospital for nine years where she was a member of the York Hospital Auxiliary. Along with her husband, William, Mrs. Robinson is survived by two sons, Michael Alan Robinson and his wife, Kerri of Dover and David Andrew Robinson and his wife, Nancy of York; three grandchildren, Kylee Robinson, Evan Robinson and Ashley Robinson; and three sister in laws, Peg Snyder of Plano, Texas, Martha Baer and Ellen Baer.
