Born on Oct. 12, 1992, in Alliance, he lived in Alliance all of his life and was a junior at St. Thomas Aquinas. While Anthony enjoyed being with friends and listening to music, his greatest love was baseball. He started playing around age 7 and most recently played for his high school team, a Hot Stove team and a traveling team. As shortstop for the Blue Wave, he played in Omaha, Neb., and New York. He also played for the Hot Stove EE William Penn team, which won the state championship in 2009.
