Miller was born in Ipswich, SD on March 30, 1887. He moved to Hague at an early age and lived there until 1955 when he moved to Spokane.
He is survived by five sons, Jake, Pete, Joe, Tony, and Leo, all of Spokane; and three daughters, Mrs. Bud (Ann) Bauman, also of Spokane; Mrs. David (Rosemary) Young, Chattaroy, WA and Sister Rita of Bismarck. There are 40 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by a brother, Lorenze of Shiner, TX; and three sisters, Anna Wolf of Aberdeen; Magdalen Schall, Hague and Theresa Shall, Coos Bay, OR.
Services were held Thursday Mar. 22 at St. Francis Xavier's Catholic Church in Spokane. The Rev. Bernard Barry officiated. Internment was made in the Holy Cross Cemetery.
