Bean whose home was at 1128 Comer Ave. in Indianapolis, was
born near Flat Rock on Dec. 18, 1867, and was the daughter of John and Lavina(Warner)Treon. She was married to Robert Bean of Indianapolis in 1922 and he preceded her in death in 1940. She had resided in Indianapolis about forty years. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Flora Hughes of near Flat Rock, and three nephews, John and Fred Hughes, both of Flat Rock, and Claude Hendrickson of Denver, Colo.
Funeral services will be held at the Ewing Mortuary at 2:00 p.m.(DST)Thursday with Rev. Teddy Turner officiating. Burial will be in the Flat Rock Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary after noon on Wednesday.
