Funeral services for Judd Wesley Alexander, 78, Kempton R.R. 1, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Ralph McMullan Funeral Home in Kempton. He died Tuesday. The son of William and Susie ( Brockus ) Alexander, he was born March 27, 1804, in Howard County. He had farmed in Prairie Township and Howard County for many years. On March 27, 1904, he was married to Estella Watson, who survives. The widow is hospitalized as result of injuries suffered in an auto accident before Christmas last year.
Alexander was a member of the Prairieville Christian Church and the Masonic Lodge at Sharpsville. Surviving besides the widow are a daughter, Mrs. Edith Carter of Tipton; a son, Carl of Frankfort R.R. 3; two sisters, Mrs. Lula Smith of Kokomo; four brothers, Thomas of Hemlock, Henry of Greentown and Charles and William of Sharpsville; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. One son is decreased.
The Rev. Franklin arthur will officiate at the funeral service Thursday. Burial will be in Albright Cemetery here. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Wednesday.
