Born in Lexington, Mo. on November 30, 1926 to the late Oliver Amos and Tennessee (Crider) Baker. On June 19, 1944 in San Obispo, Cal. she was united in marriage to Charles J. Scheel. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Owensville and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles J. Scheel; brothers, Leslie and Ross Baker; and sisters, Eunice Hallan and Dessie Cummings. Her survivors include her children, Glenda Wacker and husband Bill of Owensville, Lurline Rhodes and husband Bob of Sullivan, Vickie Copeland and husband John, Lavern "Pete" Scheel and wife Rhonda, Leland Scheel and wife Joyce and Kerwin Scheel and wife Sandie all of Owensville; by 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and three great, great-grandchildren
