Homer Hudson Adler, beloved father, grandfather, husband, and brother, died on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2008, following complications from a fall. He lived most of his life in Alexandria, La. and was a founding partner in Adler and Pias, CPAs.
Mr. Adler was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 50 years, Marilyn Lavigne Adler, and is survived by his daughter, Karen Adler Storthz of Houston and her husband, Joe; his son Rhodes S. Adler, M.D., of New York City, and his wife, Annick de Bellefeuille; his granddaughter, Amy Lea Storthz, of Henniker, N.H.; his sister, Betty Adler Riekes, of Sherman Oaks, Calif. and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. He also is survived by his beloved wife of nearly six years, Mary Frances Ewing Adler, of Alexandria, La. and her extended family.
Graveside services were held on Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008 at the Jewish Cemetery in Pineville, La. Rabbi Arnold Task officiated.
