Hannah McBride daughter of Daniel L, and Mary McBride was born at Stonington IL January 1874 the oldest of 15 children. She passed away May 20th 1959 at Lexington NE at the age of 85 years. 4 months and nineteen days. Left to mourn her passing are her husband, Charles, 6 daughters Mrs Mabel Wilson, Mrs Emma Kahler both of Maywood, Mrs. Maude Bonser of Ft. Collins CO, Mrs. Myrtle Snider of North Platte, Mrs Martha Clough of Kearney NE, and Mrs. Velma Smith of California. Three sons Delbert of Houston TX, Frank of North Platte, and Lewis of Maywood.There are 30 grandchildren and 71 great grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by daughter Ethel Flaherty April 3 1959.

In 1890 she moved with her parents to McCook NE, from there they moved to a homestead about 14 miles south of Maywood where she lived until 1896. On September 16th of that year she was married to Charles D Hayden at the family farm. The ceremony was performed by her father who was a Baptist minister. To this union 10 children were born and baptised into the Christian faith and remained Believers their entire lives.
