Mrs. Emma J. Schock
Dies in Nursing Home

MONTICELLO—Mrs. Emma J. Schock, 88, a resident of the Oak
Grove community, died at 10:45 p.m. Monday at the Goodwill nursing home in Camden.
She had been a patient there since August.
Born in Carroll county on Feb. 2, 1867, she was the daughter of Cyrus and Sarah (Brockus)- Stoner.
She was married to David Schock in 1883. He died in 1933.
Survivors include a son, Orville, Yeoman, five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, and1 two brothers, John Stoner, Stone Bluff, Ind., and. Christ E. Stoner, Lafayette.
The deceased was a members of the Oak Grove Christian church, the ladies aid and the missionary group.
Final rites will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Miller funeral home with the Rev. Virgil Willets officiating. Burial will be made in the Oak Grove cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Wednesday.
