Sgt. 1st Class Bobby L. Estle, 38, of Lebanon, Ohio died July 28 in Wardak province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered from enemy, small arms fire. He was assigned to the 630th Engineer Company, 7th Engineer Battalion, 10th Sustainment Brigade, Fort Drum, N.Y. Bobby was a loving and devoted husband, father and son. Bobby was a 1991 graduate of Lebanon High School where he was in Jr. ROTC and Warren County Career Center where he studied Chef Management and Diesel Mechanics. SFC Estle had served 2 tours of duty in Iraq and 2 in Afghanistan during his 18 year career in the U.S. Army. Bobby was a family man. Bobby leaves behind his loving wife of 15 years, two sons, a daughter, parents, brother, grandmother, father and mother-in-law of South Lebanon, Ohio and many other family members and friends. Bobby was known as a family man who enjoyed working out, watching wrestling but most of all, spending time with his family. Visitation will be held Monday, August 6, 2012 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the Cornerstone Church of God, 1004 Columbus Avenue, Lebanon, Ohio 45036. Funeral services will be held at the church Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at 11:00am with Brother Darryl Kilburn officiating.
