Funeral services were held on December 26, in Christ the King Catholic Church in Simmesport with Rev. Harvey Fortier officiating.
Burial was in the church mausoleum in Simmesport under the direction of Escude Funeral Home of Mansura.
Mrs. Whitmore is survived by one son, J.E. Whitmore of Cecelia, La.; two daughters, Mrs. Milton (Etna) Porche of Houma, La., and Mrs. C.J. (Carolyn) Drouin of Baton Rouge; three sisters, 40 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and 30 nieces and nephews.
