The former Monica Berger was born June 17, 1911 at Fallon. She married Anton J. Fleck, Nov. 18, 1930 at Fallon. Following marriage, they farmed near Solen until moving to a farm near Fallon in 1936. Her husband died in 1960 and she moved to Mandan in 1962.
She is survived by six sons: Anton and Richard, both of Wilton; Jerome and Val, both of Flasher; and Mel and Leonard, both of Mandan; five daughters: Adeline Vogel, Gackle; Mrs. Martin (Hildegarde) Morrell, Mrs. Leonard (Lenora) Haider and Mrs. Harold (Bernadette) Schlinger, all of Mandan; and Mrs. Melvin (Clara) Beckler, Hazen; a brother, Lucas Berger, Los Angeles; three sisters: Rose Wetzstein, Fargo; Pauline Fleck, Breien; and Beatrice Gerhardt, Mandan; 28 grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Rosaries will be said at 7, 7:30, 8, and 8:30pm Monday at Weigel Funeral Home in Mandan.
