YOUNGSTOWN - Dolores W. Chandler, 84, formerly of Champion, passed away Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014 at Omni Manor in Youngstown.

She was born, Feb. 18, 1929, in Akron, the daughter of James Frank and Maggie Richards Beaver.

Dolores was employed as a manager at the Aid-N-Save drugstore for more than 15 years. She was an active member of Grace Baptist Church serving in many different capacities.

Dolores is survived by two sons, Thomas Chandler of Circleville, Tenn., James (Kathy) Chandler of Hilliard, two daughters, Sandra (David) Woodford of Champion, Sharon (Tom) Nutt of Lordstown; grandchildren, Duane (Dawn) Woodford, Debra (Rick) Day, Rob (Dianna J.) Nutt, Sheila (Glenn) Meadows, Trent (Heather) Chandler, Jennifer (Ryan) Sherman, Amanda (Terence) Wilson, Kristopher Chandler, Dustin Chandler; great-grandchildren, Madison Nutt, Tiffany Meadows, Nevaeh and Braylen Wilson.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Kenneth E. Chandler; three sisters, Lorraine, Louise and Charlene; a brother, Bill; and her longtime companion and friend, Dick Uber.

Funeral services will be held noon Wednesday at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, with calling hours from 10 a.m. until noon. Pastor John Krause will officiate.

Burial will be in Champion Township Cemetery.
