RUFFING Michael J., 84 Portage, R.D.1, died at 9 a.m. Oct. 2, 1970 at Memorial Hospital, Johnstown. Born Dec 2, 1885 in Pennsylvania, Son of Michael and Barbara (Miers) Ruffing. Preceded in death by wife, former Laura Wilson. Parents; daughter, three brothers; and four sisters. Survived by three children: Clyde and Hazel, wife of Voris Billings, both of Portage, and Lester, St. Michael; also nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Brother of John, Lilly R. D.; Joseph, Tarentum, PA; and Mrs. Theresa Giles, State of California. Member of Portage Local 498, UMWA. Friends received after 7 p.m. Saturday at Rudolph Seckinger Funeral Home, Portage, where service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday. The Rev. O. A. Womer. Interment, Prospect Cemetery, Portage
