HINKEL, Clayton Peter, age 76, of 1420 Richmond Road, Forks Township, died this morning at Easton Hospital shortly after admission. Born March 29, 1896 in Forks Township, son of the late David Wesley Sr. & Mary Elizabeth (Young) Hinkel. Retired from the compressor department of the Ingersoll-Rand Co. in 1961 after 23 years. Prior, he owned a garage business on Front Street in Easton. Member of Forks United Church of Christ. Wife, the former Lucetta Lundsten died in 1964. Survivors; daughters, Helen (Hinkel) Keifer, and Jane (Hinkel) Kupcha, sons, George R.R., Joseph W, Rolland R. Hinkel, sisters, Carrie Osterstock and Dorothy Brown; 11 grandchildren & 1 great-grandchild. Also surviving is current wife, Helen Bender. Funeral held at Clements Funeral Home, Easton.
