Christina had a child born out of wedlock before marrying, Daniel Karlsson. The child was a daughter, Karolina Sjoroos, born on the 4th of February 1862, in the Hirssaari house, Mussalo village, in Kymi. Her father was a Ranger, Johan Fredrik Sjoroos Simmonsson, born on the 17th of February 1797, and died July 13th, 1847, in Kymi, Finland. He was a servant in 1817, before that he was a seaman. Maria Christina Isaacsdotter, was her mother, born in 1802. Christina was born in Ruotsinpyhtaa, on the 29th of September, 1837, and baptized on the 3rd of Oct 1837. Christina's godparents were, Jonas Osterman and his wife, Maria, and Anna Sophia Fridrisdotter.
