Last rites were conducted Sunday afternoon, May 6th at the home in May City by Rev. G.E. Scheider of the Hartley Methodist church for A. B. Snider. Mrs. H. B. Pike and Mrs. Paul Woodke sang.
Burial was made in Harrison Twp. Cemetery beside his Wife who preceded him in death.
Amos B. Snider was born April 19, 1855 in Waterloo County, Ontario, Canada.
He was married to Hannah Kraft June 29, 1875. They lived in Waterloo County until June, 1890 when they moved to Iowa onto the farm where he lived at the time of his death. He reached the age of 90 years and J4 days.
He. is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Elva Wiegand, Fairmont, Minn., his wife, son and one daughter having preceded him in death. Besides the daughter, he leaves to mourn his passing 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
