Tuesday, May 20, 1997, at her residence. Born July 21, 1909, in Philadelphia, Miss., she had been an Oroville resident 30 years. Mrs. Price owned a restaurant in the Oakland area for 40 years. Her husband, Julius, died previously.
Survivors include three sisters, Lessie, Ethel and Doris, all of Louisiana; and four grandsons, and three great-granddaughters. Contributions may be made in memory of her
son, James to the American Cancer Society-Mountain Valley Unit, 2889 Cohasset Road, Chico 95973. Arrangements were under the direction of Scheer Memorial Chapel.
