Married Minnie Lee Bridgford (1860-1939) on 8-20-1885 in Aledo, Mercer Co., Ill. Children are Ralph Hollembaek, Virgil Hollembaek, Myrtle Mae Hollembaek (1908-1951) and Pierre Hollembaek. His family moved fron New York to New Boston, Mercer Co., Ill. in 1867. Fred began teaching school in 1878 and taught for 28 years. He became the Supt. of Schools at Goleonda in the fall of 1906.
