FROSTBURG--Mrs. Katherine L. Angelletta, 62, of 70 Armstrong Street, died yesterday at Lions Manor Nursing Home, where she had been admitted April 20. She had been in failing health the past two years. A native of Vale Summit, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Katherine (Martin) Loar. Her first husband, Leo Smith, preceded her in death. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Women of the Moose Chapter 914 Cumberland, a past senior regent of the chapter, and was a former employee of Frostburg Community Hospital. Surviving are her husband, John Angelletta; three sons, Leo Smith Jr., Philadelphia; Emmett Smith, Morgantown, and Gary Smith, Burlington, W.Va.; two daughters, Mrs. Katherine Schullz, here; Mrs. Rosemary Whitacker, Vale Summit; three sisters, Mrs. Lottie McVeigh, Fort Worth, Texas; Mrs. Alretta Ross of Michigan and Mrs. Cora Scott, Oakland; two brothers, Olin Loar of Ohio and McKee Loar, Eckhart, and nine grandchildren. The body is at the Durst Funeral Home, where friends will be received today from 7 until 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. WOM 914 will hold a memorial service there today at 8 p.m.
