Mrs. Rose Duncan, 86, of 7388 Rammel Road, Lynchburg, died Friday at Highland District Hospital, Hillsboro. Her husband, George Otis Duncan to whom she was married April 10, 1916, died July 19.
Mrs. Duncan was born April 10, 1896, in Cynthiana, Ky., the daughter of Virgil and Laura Florence Judy. She was a charter member of the Allensburg Church of Christ.
She is survived by one daughter, Louise Duncan of Cincinnati; four sons, Mitchell Duncan of Sugar Tree Ridge, Delbert Duncan of Fort Thomas, Ky. and Virgil and Bill Duncan, both of Allensburg; 12 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren; three brother, Ted Judy, Millersburg, Ky., George Judy, Boone, N.C., Hanson Judy, Cynthiana, Ky.; and three sisters, Mabel Marsh, Winchester, Ky., Luanna Marsh, Cynthiana, Ky. and Virgie Marshall, also of Cynthiana.
Services were today at 2 p.m. at Davis-Turner funeral home in Lynchburg with Larry Herman officiating. Burial will be in Barnes Cemetery, Fairview. Visitation was Sunday.
