Ezra Harrison GORDON, 78, died at 2:40 am Thursday in his residence here. He had been seriously ill for the past three weeks. Born in Bethel Township, Clark County, January 28, 1875, a son of Harrison and Martha CALLISON GORDON, he was a retired farmer and member of the New Carlisle Church of the Brethren. Survivors include his wife, Grace A; two sons, Cash W of Springfield, Route 2, and Roger E of Springfield; two daughters, Mrs Thelma J RUDY of Dayton and Mrs Charles B ZINN of New Carlisle; a step-daughter, Nettie L SULLIVAN of Chillicothe; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 2 pm Saturday in the Doom Memorial Home, New Carlisle, with the Rev Chester I Harley, pastor of the New Carlisle Church of the Brethren, officiating. Burial will follow in Enon Cemetery.
