Weakness of the heart and over-exertion caused the sudden death, on Friday evening, of Aldus B. Barr, a well-known farmer of Manor township, residing between Millersville and Slackwater. He was engaged in feeding the cattle when he fell over. He was carried to his house and Dr. J.H. Pickle summoned, but he expired before the physician arrived. The deceased was a native of Pequea township. He was fifty years old and had conducted the farm on which he lived for thirty-five years old and had conducted the farm on which he lived for thirty-five years. He was a son of Benjamin and the late Barbara Buckwalter Barr, of Landisville, and he leaves a wife and son, Elwood, and a brother, Benjamin. The deceased was a member of the U.B. Church.
