Born May 13, 1916, in Orbisonia, she was a daughter of the late Fern and Nora Wennick Barber.
She was a member of Orbisonia United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Gleaners Sunday School Class and Women's Society Christian Service.
In 1933, she graduated from Orbisonia High School.
She married James. D. Walls on Sept. 29, 1935, in Hagerstown, Md. Her husband died March 19, 1999.
Also preceding her in death were a daughter, Dottie Shatzer two brothers, Fern Barber and Duane Barber and two sisters, Jean Bridenstein and Joanne Wilson.
Surviving are a granddaughter, Anne-Marie Hanawalt (Mrs. Anthony) Simcox of Rockville, Md. a great-granddaughter, Mallory D. Simcox of Rockville and a sister, Donna B. Dell of Martinsburg, W.Va.
Service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, Orbisonia, with the Rev. Edwin Seeley officiating. Burial will be in Orbisonia Cemetery.
